I like to make all kinds of colorful quilts, tending toward the useful, practical and/or meaningful. I machine piece and machine quilt, and many quilts include fabrics from clothing--T-shirts and sports uniforms, or other kinds of garments--silks, wools, etc., including memorial quilts which are made from shirts and other garments of loved family members who have passed away. But I also love to make fun patterns and give quilts to various organizations.

After making geometric and appliqued quilts, I became intrigued with paper piecing. I can now draw on cloth - no more stick figures for me. I jumped for joy when I finished my first paper pieced hummingbird.

I love to do anything that allows me to experiment and try new things. My passions are quilting, flower arranging, and gardening. Oops! I forgot eating chocolate! I enjoy making small art quilts and trying out and adapting techniques learned in workshops. My brain is exploding with all the quilt ideas I have for the future!
